Do not trust people who badmouth FanStar.org on Twitter, because not everyone on Twitter is honest about FanStar.org. I have learned that there are haters on Twitter who LIE about FanStar.org’s rules and practices just to drive traffic away from me and towards FanFusion. If you need proof of this, I can supply you with proof, because I have seen it with my own eyes. Anything you want to know about FanStar.org, ask me or ask one of my longtime hostees who will tell you THE TRUTH about us. Thanks for understanding!
Even MORE mind games!
by DavettaSo, now I’m getting e-mails from Ariane Marie saying that she’s not the same as Sweet Sounds Designs. Funny thing is I see an earlier post on the Sweet Sounds Designs Twitter profile announcing a new theme at beyonceonline.org, but nowhere on the post does it say that the theme doesn’t belong to them!!! And to top it all off, I see the name of the hostee I spoke about in my earlier post (Blessing) on the top of the page who had the audacity to e-mail me and brag that she had a site elsewhere after I kicked her out of here for stealing someone else’s layout! At this point, I’m not really sure who is who, but they all seem to have the same bad habit of stealing other people’s stuff, so I don’t want any of them here at FanStar.org. DO NOT BUY FROM SWEET SOUNDS DESIGNS! Avoid that bunch because they are all thick as thieves and can’t be trusted.

More drama and mind games!
by DavettaI received another request for a free domain this morning from someone who put on the application that their name was Ariane Marie. I go to look at their Twitter page for a minute and find a post freaking out about how their beyonceonline.org account has been deleted. WTF? So Ariane Marie and Alicia Brandon and Sweet Sounds Designs must be the same person/people! All of this lying and stealing to get a free domain??? I’d be very careful about ordering any “designs” from these people, because they obviously can’t be trusted.
A warning to design and content thieves – Part 2!
by DavettaLast week, I made a post warning all FanStar.org hostees not to steal other people’s designs or content. Well, today I had to delete someone’s account because this person didn’t take me seriously. I had adopted out beyonceonline.org to Alicia Brandon, but this morning I received a complaint that the theme that she was using on her blog had been stolen. The person who complained sent me proof that the design was hers and explained that she had made it for another host’s hostees to use as long as her credit link remained. The theme author’s credit link had been removed and the theme had been “customized” to look like the hostee had created it. Apparently, this ex-hostee was trying to get me to buy her a domain for a design site that she wanted to open and she thought that the way to make that happen was to be deceitful. What burns me up the most is that Alicia’s response to my previous warning post was to e-mail me and tell me that she liked it and thought it was funny. I bet you it isn’t funny anymore.

We have been doing it that way since the very beginning and we will continue to do it that way until the end. We think that it kinda sucks how some fansite hosts will accept anything until they get bigger, and then they start to get real choose-y about who or what they will accept. Processing e-mails and applications today!
by DavettaI am currently going through my Inbox, processing all e-mails and applications that I’ve received. If you’re waiting to hear back from me, you probably will either today or tomorrow.
Unfortunately, I’m still receiving applications that are filled out incorrectly, which lets me know that some of you are still not reading the instructions. If you sent an application and got no response, that’s probably why. Please read and follow the instructions on the application forms. Any questions, please contact me. A warning to design and content thieves!
by DavettaI recently had an ex-FanStar.org hostee (who was thrown out for blatantly stealing other people’s graphics) e-mail me and actually BRAG to me that they now own a “design site” and their own domain, like I was supposed to be impressed by that. Let me tell you something, I’m not impressed AT ALL that you got another Fansite Host (who are also a bunch of shameless thieves) to give you a free domain. I really don’t care. The plain truth is you didn’t know what the hell you were doing back then and you STILL don’t know what you’re doing, you only look like you do because you’ve stolen other people’s work. Quite frankly, I don’t care what your designs look like and I don’t care if you have 200 domains, I still don’t trust you and I wouldn’t advise anyone else to either. And forget about doing business with you, because I would NEVER trust you with my money.

Site Check later today!
by DavettaI am going to be doing a site check later today, so I hope that you are all following the rules as you should be. I will mainly be checking to make sure that all FanStar.org hostees:
- Are linking back to FanStar.org on every page in each part of their site.
- Have an ad code up that is viewable on every page in each part of their site.
- Those of you who had two weeks to get your site up, have them up and running.
- Are not using a theme on your site that links back to any other hosting companies.
